ITV greenlights “Innocent”

TXTV is delighted to announce ‘Innocent’ a four part drama created and written by Chris Lang and Matt Arlidge has been greenlit by ITV. Filming will commence in summer 2016 for broadcast early 2017. Jeremy Gwilt will produce, and Lang, Arlidge and Gwilt will co-executive produce.

French remake for “Torn”

TF1 and ITV studios France have gone in to pre pre-production on the French remake of the TXTV production ‘Torn’. The adaptation,  entitled ‘Entre Deux Meres’ will be a 90 minute  single drama to be filmed in spring 2016 and premiered later in the year.

The French  channel TF1 is in talks with TXTV to remake the RTS nominated drama ‘Torn’ for French TV. The script, originally written by Chris in 2007, is provisionally scheduled to start shooting in Oct 2015.

Richard Warlow (Ripper St) is developing a major new series for TXTV. The Boiling House is a multi season saga set in the sugar plantations of Jamaica in late 17th century. Matt Arlidge, Chris Lang and Jeremy Gwilt will exec produce.

“The Prettiest Things”

Andrew Mettam has been commissioned by C4 to pen a pilot for a new original drama series. The Prettiest Things is a rites of passage drama about three young girls growing up in an isolated village in the Scottish Highlands. It was commissioned by Sophie Gardiner and will be exec produced by Matt Arlidge, Jeremy Gwilt and Chris Lang.

“Undeniable” smashes ratings

Undeniable grabs 7.2 million viewers across both eps making it the highest rating new ITV drama of the year so far.
