Deborah Moggach to adapt “The Kill” for BBC1. The oscar nominated screenwriter and best selling novelist Deborah Moggach is to adapt Emile Zola’s novel “The Kill” for the BBC. Updating the action to contemporary London, this sizzling tale of sexual and moral corruption in high places is being adapted in four parts for Ben Stephenson and Matthew Read.

Richard Warlow to adapt A Farewell to Arms for BBC. Richard Warlow (Ripper St, Mistresses) is to adapt Hemingway’s classic novel in four parts for BBC1. A muscular tale of doomed love set during WW1, Arms will be the first novel by Hemingway to be adapted for the BBC.

Shaun McKenna to write original thriller for ITV1. McKenna, who previously collaborated with Matt Arlidge and Jeremy Gwilt on Like Father, Like Son is penning a new 2-parter called Cuckoo for Laura Mackie and Victoria Fea.

Kevin Hood to pen original series for BBC. Kevin Hood (Becoming Jane) is to write an original series for BBC1. A comic tale of two inept but good-hearted bounty hunters, Able and Caine is being developed for Ben Stephenson and Matthew Read.
